Does anyone know of an alternative to access my 720P security camera using my Windows 8.1 Nokia Lumia? I can't believe zmodo haven't, and don't intend to develop an app for this platform.
I've been using SECUTECH without any issues. Not having a windows phone platform is still no sense for me too
Where did you get this Secutech Cholla? Is it a Windows Phone app? I can't find it in the Windows app store.
Yes, try with Store Search in Top Free Apps+Games/ secutech
Thanks for getting back Cholla, I did eventually find it but can't get it to work. Any hints or tips you can give me based on your settings?
I am using my second ZMD-DD-SAN8 the first one had eight audio & eight video ports on the back. that video server worked with my windows phone using an Asee apt. the second server has eight video but only 4 audio ports. This server will not work with my Windows phone. (ironically the Secutech and Asee dialog boxes are identical) also, best I remember I did use a 9000 port with the first ZMD-DD-SAN8
you could use IE on a windows phoneyou have to type in the IP address and then log in using the NVR log in...you may also have to put in the port
example 188.8.131.52:8000 ( do not use this example numbers)
find you port number from your NVR
Windows phones don't support ActiveX, which is what the IE client uses.
Any update on a zmodo app for windows phone
I think they have given up on we Windows phone users Bono. I have since changed phones for a Windows 10 Lumia and still no app since first posting the topic 12 months ago and Zmodo aren't the only ones totally ignoring those of us with Windows mobile phones.
I'm using MEyePro on my windows phone 8.1 and it's working okay.
Nope, doesn't work with Windows 10
