Thank you for replying Patti. I tried phone support and the estimated wait time was 77 minutes.... So, I may try later.
Here is the information you wanted :
I would reset the cameras the standard way. By pressing the reset button for 30 seconds, as described by zmodo. I would then connect the camera to the router and go through the setup all over again (can now do it in my sleep) which would make it acquire a new ip, etc.
NVR MODEL ZP-NB14
OLD SKU ZMD-NH-SBN4
NEW SKU ZP:NB14
SKU ZP IBI13-W-S
WIRELESS IEEE: 802.11 bgn
My Router is
ASUS: AC1300 DUAL BAND GIGABYTE ROUTER
My wlan is a standard 2.4GHz wifi protected by a WPA2 passcode. Works perfectly except for the zmodo system.
****In the meanwhile, I may have stumbled on a possible solution.
2 of the cameras - just now - disappeared from the network, including from IPC search (AGAIN). I unplugged one and, changing my mind, I replugged it back. Same socket. Miraculously it reappeared on line! So I tried the same with the other camera that had gone offline - - and the same thing happened!
I then recalled another user having a similar problem and finding he needed to "recycle/turn power off and on" every day or two to keep the cameras online.
Obviously, that is ridiculous to do manually. So could you save me a 77+ minute wait and ask your tech support people what that indicates? And how to solve it?
That would be great support!
