Greetings Patty, I neglected to mention that the NVR and it’s monitor are OFF, as in no power. Yet the alerts still flood in. The reason I have the NVR powered off is that, I live alone, I rarely leave the property and cant see recording myself wandering throughout the house night and day foe weeks on end. When I do leave, I power up the NVR and set the phone app to “AWAY”. No alerts. When I get home I set the mode to “HOME” which turns OFF alerts, and alerts start to flood in. ALL motion alerts from me moving around the house.
I am trying to figure out how to get a screen capture on a dedicated monitor hooked to the NVR. Not connected to any of my computers.
I can assure you that I have gone through (several times) every NVR screen and setting to turn off or configure alerts for when I am home and camera operational times, alert times, motion detection times and area. NO JOY as they say.
I will endeavor to photograph the NVR screens to provide you with as much info as I can.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my dilemma.
