Welcome to the world of Zmodo… where important things are not always important…
I’ve had my system for over two years, and now it is part of my routine to check monthly if anything has been recorded lately. live cams always worked for me, but the recording part … LOL.
It stops, randomly, you need to crawl in the server room, get you old monitor, hook it up, work the awkward login with the slow remote, that sometimes misses numbers depending on the order which you punch them… reformat, pray as you do that it will even restart.
then sometimes they update firmware without your knowledge or permission, software and apps to make sure whatever you had is not available anymore. Not to mention that only two years after purchased your system is now a version 40 instead of 43, so forget about updates and fixes you are obsolete now, So likely forget about apps that can work with your system. Also forget about that “email alarms” thats written on the box, thats gone, you can have the push alarms that may or may not work, but will drain your phone in an hour when they do as much as making you go paranoid from all the false beeps, literally you’ll think a “Project X” is happening in your home…
I have been lucky so far I never needed to have the video pulled to find a bandit or something.
anyhow we get what we pay for and next time I’ll now that 200$ over two years wasn’t that much more to pay for a security systems
The only thing saving that company from people rushing in and beating the hell out of them is PATTY. Amazing service, unbelievably patient and knowledgeable, I have to wonder how someone can be surrounded with such a bunch of reckless idiots and not lose their mind.
Patty, champagne for you! as for the rest of the zmodo team when you’ll see a bridge please jump.
Unbelievably frustrated to have to figure out why nothing has been recorded since the 6th of October this morning,
